A heavy early afternoon rain shower with the promise of
more to come by
early evening prompted officials at the Holland NASCAR Motorsports
Complex to call off the scheduled racing program for Saturday, June
19th.
The Father’s Day weekend family pass special ($15 for two adults and
students ages 8-15) and the Bank of Holland night Kids Rides have been
re-scheduled for Saturday, June 26th, in addition to the already slated
promotions of Ladies Night ($5 admission for the ladies) and High
School night (high school students with valid high school ID cards will
be admitted for free.)
On the speedway, the 3rd Holland round (and fifth overall round) of the
Holland-Spencer Challenge Series for the NASCAR Ragingwolf.com Pro
Modifieds will highlight the card. The Late Models of Tomorrow, Bank
of Holland Chargers, M&M U-Pull-It Figure 8 Cars, and 4-cylinder
Hornets and Queen Bees will round out the weekly slate - in addition,
the Cup Lites will make their first Holland visit of the year. (The
Casey’s TQ Midget Series will be off on the 26th.)
On June 26th, pit gates will open at 4:45 PM, grandstand gates at 5:15,
and racing will get underway at 7:15 PM. The Holland NASCAR
Motorsports Complex is located on Holland-Glenwood Rd., just 1 mile
west of Route 16, 5 miles south of the end of Route 400, and just a 25
minute drive southeast from downtown Buffalo. For more information,
