Delevan, NY- On Friday, August 20 the 600cc winged micro sprints, many of which race on the Original Pizza Logs 600 Sprint Tour, will invade South Arcade Speedway near Arcade, NY for a $300 to win racing program.  Micro sprint racing at the SAS 1/3 mile is always action-packed;  the wide, sweeping corners and multiple racing grooves for the scale racing machines assures side-by-side racing action at speeds much faster than normally seen.

The 600 micro sprints have a solid history at the track with past winners including Timex Morgan and Western NY asphalt modified standout Erick Rudolph.  Frank Jarkiewitz won an exhibition race held at the track back in July.

For the event on August 20, spectator gates open at 5:30 with racing starting at 7:00, a half hour earlier than the normal starting time.  Joining the micro sprints on the racing card will be South Aracde’s weekly divisions;  the Jerge’s Auto Parts FASTRAK Late Models, the Insinger Performance E-mods, the Lauterborn Electric Street Stocks, the Lauterborn Electric Mini Stocks, the Lauterborn Electric Pure Stocks, and the 360 Late Models.  For more information, catch up with South Arcade Speedway on Facebook, at the website www.southarcadespeedway.com, or by phone at (585)293-2780 on weekdays and (716)492-4097 on race day.
