Lancaster, New York – Dunn Tire Raceway Park has “modified” their August and September Stock Car schedule, with some shuffling of some originally scheduled events in order to make the end of the season the best yet. 

On August 21^st, the Sportsman will headline the night’s events with a 75 lap main event.  The Modifieds, who had been put on the schedule from the May 22^nd rained out event, have been taken off the nights racing card.  Also on the schedule that night are the Street Stocks, 4 Cylinders, and the TQ Midgets who are slated to run Twin 15 lap features.  The Sportsman event will be a Race of Champions qualifying event for the division.  In addition, the fan favorite Autograph Night has been moved to August 21^st from its original August 28^th date. 

August 28^th features one of Dunn Tire Raceway Park’s premiere events – the Tommy Druar & Tony Jankowiak Memorial Modified race.  Originally the race was slated for 50 laps, but has recently been expanded to a 100 lap event that is sure to attract the best of the best Modified drivers, all competing for the coveted memorial race win.  Also racing on August 28^th are the Street Stocks, 4 Cylinders, and the Legends.  The Sportsman division will have the night off.  The Modified race will also serve as a Race of Champions Modified All Star Race qualifier and the winner of the Legends race will receive a guaranteed starting spot in the US Open Legends feature. 

September 4^th is the last night of the regular Stock Car season at Dunn Tire Raceway Park and will end the season with a great night of racing!  It is Fabulous 50’s night with 50 lap feature events for the Street Stocks and Sportsman and Twin 15’s for the 4 Cylinders.  The headline event of the night will be a Modified 50 lap feature, which was previously scheduled for August 21^st.  September 4^th is the final night of points for the regular DTRP divisions.  In addition all feature winners on September 4^th will receive a guaranteed starting spot at the US Open. 

The 22^nd Annual US Open is scheduled for September 17^th through the 19^th.  Details will be forthcoming in the next week regarding the weekends schedule and pricing.
