BEYEA, DILLENBERG LEAD WINNERS LIST
AT HOLLAND CRASH-A-RAMA

Crash-A-Rama, Round II for 2009 again pulled in a packed house at the
Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex on Saturday evening, and David
Beyea of Hamburg, NY and Don Dillenberg of Buffalo came out as the big
winners of the night.

Beyea, competing in his first ever full-sized School Bus Figure 8 Race,
led all ten laps for the $1000 victory, holding off an early race challenge from Tony DeCarlo and a last lap threat from perennial contender Marty “The Madman”Hughes to take the win by a bus length over Hughes.  DeCarlo held on for third in the ten bus field.

Dillenberg was a triple winner on the evening, earning the victory over
25 other entries in the 8 lap boat-trailer race, teaming with Jason Marsh and Chris Cornwall to take the Auto Roller Derby - stock division win over 5 other teams, then teaming with Cornwall to win the 6 lap chain car race over five other teams.

Other winners for the evening included the team of Patrick Eck, Marty
Hughes, and Scott Gborek in the Auto Roller Derby - pro (modified)
division, Robert Troidl in the 39 car, 8 lap Flagpole race, Cory
Espinosa in the 30 car compact demolition derby, and Todd Hittle in the
burn-out contest.

Ninety-five cars took the green flag for the 60 lap, $5000 to win compact
car enduro, with Mike Meyers declared the unofficial winner pending review of the scoring.

Monster Truck action also took place as Mark Hall in “Raminator” and
Geromie Dishman in “Rammunition” put on exhibitions of car crunching,
wheelies, and burn-outs.   Holland’s own stunt daredevil Jimmy “Flying
Elvis” Gnojek launched the evening’s program by ramming a full sized
school bus t-bone style through a camper trailer.

Crash-A-Rama, Round II brought the 2009 racing season at the Holland
NASCAR Motorsports Complex to a close.
