HOLLAND TO HOLD 50th ANNIVERSARY BASH
ON AUGUST 1st

The 50 year history of the Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex will be
celebrated as part of the Saturday, August 1st racing program.  The
Western New York oval has been in continuous seasonal operation since
its summer, 1960 opening, and many of the stars of seasons past will be
on hand to meet, greet, and reminisce.

The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series program that evening will feature
the  NASCAR Ragingwolf.com SST Pro Modifieds, along with a 50 lap
special for the Late Models of Tomorrow, and a Race of Champions
qualifier for the Pro Fours.  Also on the slate will be the Chargers,
M&M U-Pull-It Figure 8 Cars, the Thiel Motorsports 4-cylinder Hornets
and the ladies-only Queen Bees.  The evening will conclude with another
visit by Jimmy “Flying Elvis” Gnojek, who will debut a new car jump
stunt which he promises “will get everyone’s attention.”

On August 1st, pit gates will open at 4:45 PM, with grandstand gates
opening at 5:15.  The evening’s NASCAR racing program will get underway
at 7:15 PM.  The Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex is located on
Holland-Glenwood Road, just west of Route 16, five miles south of the
end of Route 400 and just a 25 minute drive southeast from downtown
Buffalo.
