JOHN HAGGERTY TAKES FIRST WIN
AT ARCADE INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

      Two new winners were able to break into Arcade International Raceway victory lane on Friday night as John Haggerty of Olean, NY registered his first Emerling Resale Center FASTRAK Late Model victory of the season along with Nathan Hill of East Otto, NY who prevailed in the E-Mod feature for his first ever career win of any kind. Repeat winners were Andy Michael of Allegany, NY in the Street Stock main event, Brad Ullman of Allegany, NY with the Four Cylinder feature and Don Williams of Portville, NY in the Pure Stock feature.
      Andy Michael led all twenty laps from the pole in the Street Stock feature. He had a straightaway lead at the halfway point. The lap fifteen restart had Brett Smith move into second, but Andy had enough of a lead to get his third win of the season. Daniel Giboo  drove to a third place finish after starting ninth.
      Nathan Hill bolted from his outside pole starting position to take the E-Mod lead that he would never let go of for the entire distance. John Woodward, Jr. ran in second until Al Brewer gained the position on lap thirteen. Al went to work on Nathan for the lead, but Nathan held him at bay. Nathan also denied Al his fourth straight win. It was Nathan's first career victory of any kind at any track, and he was obviously ecstatic in the winner's circle! Woodward held on to the third spot at the finish.
      The Emerling Resale Center FASTRAK Late Model feature's first leader was Dan Stives until John Haggerty moved around him on a lap three restart. Several cautions collected cars and caused damage to several of the runners on this night. Stives had his great run in second come to an end on lap fifteen when he started slowing, and then he was involved in an accident. Haggerty outlasted Tim Schram and John Lacki after a lap eighteen restart to garb the checkers for the first time this season.
      Richard Kline took the lead in the Four Cylinder feature in his first start for the season. Brad Ullman became the new leader on lap two and started to pull away. Ullman prevailed for his third win this year as Nick Snayczuk was about half a straightaway behind him in second. Davey Lowe made his first start of the season and came home with a third place finish.
     Zach Hamer lead the Pure Stock feature for the first two laps as Don Williams gave chase. Williams took over the lead on the lap three restart as Dave DeRock moved into the second spot. Williams was in for his third consecutive victory with DeRock in second and John Ellwood rounding out the top three.
      Action returns to Arcade International Raceway this Friday, June 12 for another five division show with gates opening at 5 p.m. and racing starting at 7:30 p.m. The special Super Stock $1,000 to win show that was scheduled for June 19 is officially cancelled.
