Crash-A-Rama Postponed One Week Due to Mother Nature
HOLLAND, NY… “The Wildest Show on Wheels” Carwarz Crash-A-Rama will be taking place next Saturday September 19 at 6:30pm. The show was originally scheduled for this Saturday night, September 12 but Mother Nature had others ideas, forcing track management and event organizers to postpone the show for one week.
“Due to the persistent rain and predicted thunderstorms throughout the day and evening, we have decided to postpone tonight’s show “ stated both Holland Motorsports Complex General Manager Tim Bennett and Crash-A-Rama promoter Chuck Rush. Crash-A-Rama until next Saturday, September 19 at 6:30 pm. Tickets that are dated for September 12 will still be valid for next week’s show.
The fall edition of Crash-A-Rama will see a FMX Dirt Bike Thrill Show featuring Tim Dyson plus fan favorites like the School Bus Figure 8 race, Boat-Trailer Race and the Enduro and so much more! To cap off the night, Skylighters of NY will fire up the sky with Fireworks! Fans are encouraged to go to participating Western New York Carquest and Advance Auto Parts locations and pick up tickets for Crash-A-Rama for admittance to the track one hour before everyone else! Fans are also encouraged to purchase their tickets for “The Wildest Show on Wheels” online to avoid waiting in the long lines at the speedway box office the day of the show.
Pit gates will open up at 2:30pm with the inspection process for racers beginning at 3:30pm. Grandstand gates will open at 4pm and the show will get underway at 6:30pm. Crash-A-Rama will officially close the books on the 2015 racing season for the historic Holland Motorsports Complex. The 2015 Awards Banquet will be taking place on Friday November 6th at the Millennium Airport Hotel on Walden Avenue, near the Galleria Mall in Cheektowaga, NY. The banquet will honor and celebrate the accomplishments of all the drivers that made racing possible in 2015. Holland management would like to congratulate their 2015 track champions. Tommy Catalano won his first career Pro Modified title as did Brandon Glover in the Late Models. Tom Northem won his second Charger championship in three seasons. Jeff Szafraniec won his second career Hornet track title. Kyle Hutchinson won the Holland title for the NYPA TQ Midgets. Jeremy Haudricourt won the track championship in the INEX Legends. Jason Adams continued his dominance over the Figure 8’s as he earned his fourth track championship in five years. DJ Phillips won the Future Four championship for his first title.
